Birch Trees......ancient medicine

Today, under a gorgeous birch tree the thought crossed my mind....why not tell people some of the crazy ideas you can go to heal ourselves.
Lately I have been dealing with anger, mostly around the hard and lengthy work to heal myself. Additional resentments come up when i hear people complain about trivial things. Instead of living with anger a tree was my solution. I asked the tree to be purified of anger. The result was that I came home super happy, felt the anger draining from my body recycling into the earth. Trees are healers. I believe this is part a trees purpose here on earth.

When I first learned about people using birch trees to heal I laughed, thinking no tree can heal this shit storm of health issues. Too many issues.....well I was dead wrong. A healer told me one day to start going to a birch tree every single day and ground. I had to google grounding at the time since I was scratching my head like huh??! So I went to a bitch tree pretty much every single day last summer. I would embrace the tree take my shoes and socks off to let the ions charge my body. I learned that grounding effectively alleviates inflammation because it thins your blood and infuses you with negatively charged ions through the soles of your feet. Grounding helps thin your blood by improving its zeta potential, which means it improves the energy between your red blood cells.
I was pleasantly surprised that over time this practice was a huge part of healing my nervous system.
I have also had a lot of digestion problems so I pull my shirt up and press my belly against and worship....to nature and to Jesus...to angels...to animals....yeah I worship all...no need to exclude in my world.
One day I intuitively started taking the sap from the tree and putting it on tumor areas of my body that I have had a hard time clearing out. The results were more calming than anything....I am obsessed with birch trees if you are ever with me and we see them I am like a little kid in a candy store.
I did more research on the sap from birch trees and was blown away....this summer I will be collecting some sap for a yummy drink.

Birch has a multitude of historical uses but is less familiar for its undoubted medicinal properties. The sap makes a clear and refreshing drink that can be preserved as a wine, beer, or spirit. The leaves produce a pleasant tea and an infused oil. In each form, birch is an excellent tonic and detoxifier, mainly working on the urinary system to remove waste products, as in kidney or bladder stone, gravel, gout, and rheumatism. It reduces fluid retention and swellings, and clears up many skin problems.

And when I can't find a birch tree any tree will do for grounding.....all trees I have found have the most incredible energy. I tend to be a high energy person so for me trees are a necessity for keeping me happy and loving life.
